Pu-Erh Tea
Pu‑erh is a type of dark tea with rich layered flavour and great ageing potential. Compared with other teas, its biggest feature lies in its earthy, woody, and sweet aged notes, with a deep, steady aroma and a smooth, lingering taste, known as the "tea that gets better with time".
It is called "Pu‑erh" because it originates from the historic Pu'er region in Yunnan. It is carefully picked, fermented, and compressed following ancient local traditions. Each cake evolves slowly over years of proper storage, developing richer flavours as it matures. Hence Pu‑erh’s reputation as a treasured aged tea.
