  • Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Celebration 2018

Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Celebration 2018

HARVEST NOTE 2018 produced a vintage of historic quality. The hot and dry summer season brought the grapes to complete and uniform maturity with no adverse elements to sort out. Fermentations proceeded steadily and the wine began its extended aging in barrels in the Jadot cellar for 18 months, followed by an additional 6-month period of refinement in stainless steel tanks. TASTING NOTE The thoroughly ripe grapes conferred a deep color to this wine as well as an opulent texture. Aromas of dark berries are intertwined with hints of mocha and spice which evolve over the long and persistent finish. This wine has both the elegance and density to age for many years to come.

  • Louis Jadot Beaune Domaine des Heritiers Clos Des Ursules 1er Cru Monopole 2021

Louis Jadot Beaune Domaine des Heritiers Clos Des Ursules 1er Cru Monopole 2021

95 Points James Suckling "Fabulous, fresh blackberry and black-cherry nose with some heady floral notes. Imposing tannin structure and concentration, but it is all wrapped in big black fruit. The crisp acidity of the vintage is very present here and makes this bright, but the firm and stony finish needs some time to completely harmonize. This will really blossom if you have a little patience. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2024."

  • Chateau Rieussec 2019

    Chateau Rieussec 2019

Winemaker Notes Watch when Jean-Sébastien Philippe, International Director of the iconic Domaines Baron de Rothschild appears in this tasting featuring the newly released 97 point - 2019 Château Rieussec. Jean-Sébastien and Michael Llodra, owner of Bordeaux wine bar, Chai Mica, join Wine.com host Gwendolyn Osborn to challenge the myth that Sauternes is purely a "dessert" wine and prove that it can be an exceptional and versatile food wine that both complements rich textures and contrasts with salty or spicy foods (think oysters, fried chicken and prosciutto!) Tasting Note Delicate golden color with soft green glints. Intense nose with tremendous aromatic richness. Initial notes of citrus zest are followed by lemon tart, and then toasted notes reminiscent of freshly baked brioche. The palate offers mandarin zest and candied orange, enlivened by a touch of star anise which underscores the wine’s aromatic freshness. Dense and rich, the palate has good length with a pleasant hint of bitterness on the finish. It is only in Sauternes that botrytis can develop, giving Rieussec its unique richness. This noble rot meets our grapes to create a delicate osmosis that we reveal by harvesting each grape at the ideal moment. Once bottled, our wine starts its life cycle, drinkable from the earliest stage to the longest

  • Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle N.26

    Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle N.26

Winemaker Notes Vintages in Champagne are synonymous with excellence despite significant variations in style, expression, and quality from one to another. Grand Siècle seeks a perfection beyond single vintages, with the ambition of recreating "the perfect year", one nature on its own cannot provide. The 26th iteration of Grand Siècle was released to great critical acclaim – including a perfect 100-point rating from James Suckling. A white gold in color with delicate and persistent bubbles, it offers a very complex nose which mixes honeysuckle, lemon, clementine and fresh butter aromas, followed by notes of hazelnut and a touch of honey. The feel in the mouth is very delicate and fresh with candied lemon and fresh hazelnut aromas. The palate is silky and mineral with notes of honeysuckle, flaked almonds and clementine. Grand Siècle Nº26 will pair beautifully with high quality produce and refined dishes, such as truffle, caviar, shellfish, noble fish and white meats.  Blend: 58% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot Noir

Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Brut 2012

Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Brut 2012

The iconic Belle Epoque bottle reveals a well-structured, taut wine. With Chardonnay very much in evidence in the mineral texture, the wine is almost as floral as the bottle. Drink from 2021. - Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast A very complex and toasty nose with nicely cut, autolytic, reductive kick that adds flinty notes to the lemons and pink grapefruit, as well as fresh, lightly spiced pastry. The palate has a super fluid and attractively fresh feel with a bold, sweetly fruited core that delivers a long, succulent and elegant finish. This is in form! Drink or hold. - James Suckling Creamy lemon notes have a distant whiff of vanilla, but more air also reveals chalky, stony depth. The body is slender but comes with well-rounded richness, hinting at its rich autolysis with toasty notes. Lemon oil sets a citrus note that expands alongside the rich, yeasty sonorousness. The creamy finish is almost mellow.Drinking Window 2020 - 2028 AK -Anne Keibeihl MW - Dacanter.com
