Drappier Quattuor IV Blanc de Quatre Blancs Extra Brut
Clear, medium, yellow. Nose: Ripe green fruit. Yellow apples, peach and apricot. Baked citrus of lime zest and lemon pith. Light chalk minerality. Soft autolysis of bread yeast, pastry and butter. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Palate: Juicy, rich and vibrant. Beautiful citrus notes, delicious green fruit and soft butter and toast. Delicate minerality. Good concentration, medium+ intensity, good acidity and good mousse. Long finish. Very good Blanc de Blancs from Drappier, with blend of several green grapes. --Boris.Kingston The Quattuor is the incarnation of originality and know-how which the Drappier family has honed since 1808. Producted from an assemblage of white grape varieties of Champagne, this Blanc de Blancs allies the identity of its roots with the impertinence of modern winemaking. To the forgotten Champagne grape varieties: Arbane (25%), Petit Meslier (25%) and Blanc Vrai (25%), which express themselves in a tight sap, the classic Chardonnay brings its elegant and persistent note. The cuvée displays aromas of very fresh grapes, citrus fruit, white flowers or honeyed apples. The Quattuor cuvée, from the number four in Latin, is a fine Champagne, mineral and chiselled. Tasting Notes Aromas of very fresh grapes and citrus fruits evolving towards notes of honeyed apples and fig jam, borne by a bouquet of white flowers. On the palate, a Champagne with great freshness, mineral and chiselled, and a very persistent finish.

Drappier Brut NV Rose Nature Zero Dosage
Winemaker Notes On the nose, very evocative of strawberry and raspberry with a floral note of rose petals. The palate recalls red fruits and is augmented by hints of citrus fruit, mandarin orange and a small, very refined touch of white pepper. Critical Acclaim Wine Spectator This elegant rosé Champagne marries a firm frame with a sense of finesse and balance. Fine and satiny in texture, offering a mouthwatering display of strawberry preserves, pink grapefruit granita, oyster shell and biscuit. Drink now. Wine Enthusiast Pinot Noir is the most widely planted vine in the Côte des Bar, the origin of this wine. It is bone dry and very crisp, with an attractive red-currant fruitiness that brings in a light structure. The bottling needs to age, so wait until early 2020 before drinking.

Yixing Tea Pet
Tea pet is a traditional Chinese tea culture art piece, usually a small animal or human figure made of materials such as ceramics, jade, or wood, that can be placed on tea utensils as a decoration or for appreciation. Tea pets originated in the Ming Dynasty of China, initially made to pray for family peace and a good harvest, and gradually evolved into a part of tea culture. The figures of tea pets are usually auspicious animals or human figures, such as dragons, phoenixes, lions, frogs, monks, etc. Some tea pets are also related to history or legends, such as peacocks, characters from the Three Kingdoms, or characters from A Dream of Red Mansions. Tea pets have a special significance in Chinese tea culture. In addition to the decorative function, they can bring joy and interest. During tea tasting, tea pets can be picked up and appreciated, and the pleasure of tea culture can be shared with friends. Moreover, tea pets are regarded as a part of traditional culture, representing the depth and historical heritage of Chinese traditional culture. Nowadays, tea pets have become an indispensable part of Chinese tea culture and are gradually gaining recognition and popularity internationally.

Marcassin Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard 2006
As for the 2006 Chardonnay Marcassin Estate, it is a more mineral-dominated wine displaying a liqueur of crushed rocks/wet stones, pears, and subtle smoky, honeysuckle, quince, and citrus oil notes. It also possesses exceptional length and richness as well as a full-bodied mouthfeel. Given the history of the vintage and the challenging conditions for Chardonnay, I would suspect these wines will evolve quickly by Marcassin's standards, meaning they are probably best drunk in their first decade of life. 96+points At once bold, rich and layered, with a measure of delicacy and finesse, unfolding to tiers of fig, melon, bubble gum, spice and honeysuckle. Finishes with a dash of cedary oak. Drink now through 2017.

Francois Carillon Bourgogne Cote d'Or Chardonnay 2020
Magnificent producer that never disappoint, even for the regional wines. A quit affordable price for the quality and taste. The availability is also an impressive number, so I wouldent hesitated to try this one...maybe also buy a crate. Great taste of green apple, light oak and some slightly soft butter. --Erik FS First taste of the 2020 vintage. Straw yellow color. On the nose: minerals, green apple, citrus and some herbs. On the palate: green apple and citrus, butter and a touch of oak. This wine is still young, but nevertheless very nice. However, it could (should) have been cheaper to call it a good buy. I think it is worth the price. --Øivind

Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz 2020
Winemaker Notes The 2020 Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz is a black ruby plum color. A magenta rim with black core. Benchmark Penfolds Shiraz. A generous kaleidoscope of warm-climate aromatics. Blackcurrant, black plum, ironstone, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, cola. Chocolate gateau, adorned with candied cherries. Earthy North African spices: ‘Ras El Hanout’ - paprika, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, and fennel. On the palate, always honest, warm, and approachable. Chocolate mud cake, cinnamon syrup, poached red cherries. Coconut shavings, milk chocolate... wait, a Bounty bar! Summer plum pudding with currants and crème anglaise. Bone marrow broth, Vietnamese Phò - layered complexity and texture. Turmeric, cinnamon, star anise clove. Cola with a suggestion of Chinotto bitterness. Sweet, layered fruit with earthy spices. Mouthcoating, chewy tannins. Cherry pip acidity. Critical Acclaim Wine Spectator Ripe and generous, but the aromatics take this to the next level, with notes of cardamom, paprika and dried rose petal, plus touches of candied violet and cocoa powder, to complement the core of fleshy blackberry, black cherry and cassis. The tannins are dense but velvety, and this finishes with warm chocolaty notes.
