Vin Perdu 2021
2021 VIN PERDU NAPA VALLEY RED BLEND We've all asked ourselves the proverbial question: If I were stranded on an island with only one bottle of wine, what bottle would that be This age-old and daunting conundrum inspired this year's label. You will find that the label not only tackles the question (man stranded, what to drink) but… with a mere twist of the wrist — or a quick flip of the lenticular image — it also poses a solution: drink more wine while the going is good! Why wait for the cliche stranding, the next climate event, economic upheaval? We produce Vin Perdu, our "lost wine," with the philosophy that no good wine should be wasted, and we all should seize every moment lest we lose them forever. After a two-year hiatus due to the smoke-tainted vintage in 2020, we are pleased to offer you an allocation of Vin Perdu 2021 Napa Valley Red Blend. This wine sells out quickly due to its deliciously complex contents, great-value price point and one-of-kind label. Heidi's Vin Perdu 2021 blend consists of 67.4% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17.7% Syrah and 14.9% Cabernet Franc from our Napa Valley vineyards. This vintage yielded close to 700 cases. Allocations of Vin Perdu 2021 are available by six pack at $95/bottle. You will notice five-liter Jeroboams on the order form. We produced a small quantity of these large formats, signed by Heidi, and they are available on a first-in basis.

Presqu'ile Estate Pinot Noir 2021
Winemaker Notes Presqu'ile's Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir provides a beautiful look into just how well this grape thrives in the region’s soils. Lifted notes of bing cherries, rose hips, dried orange rind, and sandalwood dominate the wine’s earth-driven palate. Pair with game, veggie burgers, or roasted chicken. Critical Acclaim Jeb Dunnuck Not yet bottled, the 2021 Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County should be rock solid, if not outstanding. Lively red fruits, sappy flowers, and some peppery notes all emerge from this medium-bodied, balanced, charming effort that's going to bring real Pinot Noir character at a heck of a price.

Bricoleur Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2021
Critic tasting note: "Very rich and ripe, this full-bodied wine, fermented and aged in stainless steel, shows that oak aging is not necessary to make a full-bore Chardonnay. The wine is loaded with golden apples, Bartlett pears, light butter and vanilla flavors on a nicely viscous texture that helps extend the finish. Pair this with something equally rich." - 93/100, Wine Enthusiast.

Amulet "Mockingbird Blue" Red 2018
Critical Acclaim MEL94 Mel's Notes Color: Deep purple hue extending to the edge of the glass, indicating richness and concentration. Nose: Vibrant and pure aromas of red cherry, dried sage, violets, and freshly tilled earth create an enticing bouquet. Jeb Dunnuck A gorgeous wine on all accounts, the 2018 Red Blend Mockingbird reveals a dense purple/ruby color to go with gorgeous crème de cassis and darker currant-like fruits as well as lots of tobacco, bouquet garni, earth, and a touch of truffle. It's rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, with both good acid and tannins. It needs 3-5 years of bottle age, but my money is on it evolving for 20-25 years or more. This is impressive.

Amulet Estate "Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III" Cabernet Sauvignon, Single 2019
Product details Located along Conn Creek at the eastern edge of Rutherford, Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III is a beautiful ranch with acres of grapes placed under a conservation easement. This historic vineyard dates back to 1895 and is tied to legendary winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff. Beginning at 500 feet of elevation, the vineyard gently slopes to the south, offering optimum sun exposure for ripening Cabernet Sauvignon, and complementing their meticulous farming. In the pre-World War II era our already gravelly block was supplemented with stones from the creek during a flood control project done by the Army Core of Engineers. Planted entirely to Clone 337 of Cabernet Sauvignon, suited for the well-draining Cortina soils where they sit, and each vine’s ‘Lyre’ training protects the fruit from Rutherford’s warm climate, allowing for maximum hang-time.
