  • Epoch Estate Blend Red 2018

    Epoch Estate Blend Red 2018

MY BIO BY WINEMAKER JORDAN FIORENTINIThe 2018 Estate Blend is a graceful, awe-inspiring expression of our red varieties at Epoch grown across all three of our vineyard sites – Paderewski, Catapult, and York – in the even-keeled, dreamy 2018 vintage.  Brimming with concentrated dark plum and black cherry, savory roasted herbs and meats, earthy forest floor, lavender, chocolate, and vanilla, this wine is generous and harmonious in youth, but it is sure to age beautifully thanks to its balance of flavor and texture on the palate entry to finish

  • Epoch Estate White Blend 2018

    Epoch Estate White Blend 2018

Winemaker's Notes: "Refreshingly bright and exuberant, Epoch’s 2018 White is bursting with gorgeous aromas, texture and mineralogy. Ripe green and yellow melon, wet rock, white pineapple and baking spices on the nose make your mouth water, begging for a taste. Yellow peaches, fresh cream and meyer lemon are laced through with crushed rock and delicate texture. Drink it now but also lay it down for one to four years. You won’t regret it."

  • Epoch Ingenuity 2014

    Epoch Ingenuity 2014

Epoch Ingenuity 2014 95 points Wine Enthusiast. "Viscous and dark in the glass, this wine's unctuous nose shows black currant, violet and a hint of hot asphalt. The blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 18% Mourvèdre and 7% Petite Sirah is tight on the palate, where a tarry texture carries flavors of concentrated black currant, fresh blackberry and wild chaparral herbs." Drink now through 2029. About Ingenuity 2014 Explosive on the first pour, you can’t get enough of the aromas – so much delicious fruit, sweet black licorice, and warm summer brush. Counter-intuitively, but so indicative of Epoch’s multi-varietal Rhone Blends when young, this wine becomes more convoluted and serious the more you sniff and taste. So outwardly vivacious on the first few sips, you’d think her personality would tame in the glass, but touché, she grows serious and more complex, leaving you yearning for what’s to come. With a great acid backbone and focused fruit, more grounding attributes of earth, sweet tar, dried sage, and briney olives present themselves once your senses grow accustomed to her outward fruity beauty.

  • Forman Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2018

Forman Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2018

96 points Vinous The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is silky and elegant, with lovely aromatic presence and impeccable balance. Sweet tobacco, cedar, dried flowers and mint all give this mid-weight Cabernet lovely complexity and nuance. The 2018 has shut down since I tasted it last year, but that is not surprising given the style here. Today, bright acids give the 2018 energy, tension and a good deal of precision. 96+ (AG)  (1/2022)
