Winemaker Notes An elegant nose presents, with complex aromatics of ripe cherries and dried rose petals, a touch of white pepper and a hint of alpine forest. Balanced and integrated, the palate comprises of sweet strawberries, cranberries, and traces of rhubarb. The wine closes at length with a finish of toasted brioche, a dash of caramel and fresh raspberries. About the Label Sometimes the labels take years to develop and sometimes they happen quickly. Inspiration comes from a variety of places and things, even duct tape and cardboard.

Winemaker Notes Glowing in the glass, the aromatics concentrate with notes of lemongrass, fresh-cut grass and hints of lavender, cream, and jasmine. On the palate, the entry is all acidity but with a serious mid-palate—lively flavors of kiwi, lime, and intriguing minerality. The finish is bright and youthful with a slight Meyer lemon rind closing out the wine. About the Label The Inspiration for and execution of a label can happen anywhere. Sometimes all you need is a transatlantic flight, a dozen international fashion magazines, a glass of Chardonnay and time.

Winemaker Notes This wine exudes power and elegance. Dense and focused with primary, bright, youthful, fresh characters. Plenty of ripe blue and red fruit accompanied by notes of mocha, carob, butterscotch, and toast. Hints of dried herb and rose petal. Long, clean, and fresh, its strong acid backbone is a hallmark of what will be another long-lived, collectible wine. Discernable tannins that are youthful yet lengthy complement the underlying intense fruit. Great texture! All the promise you like to find in a young wine. Blend: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot

Winemaker Notes The year 2016 was a good one for grapes in the northern part of Sonoma County. Our cooler vineyard sites had the unique advantage of a long and moderate growing season. With this mellow, even weather, our fruit ripened gently. The result: deep flavors with complex, integrated tannins, and lively characteristics that make this vintage one of our best. Our vineyard blocks that compose the Red Blend are all clay soil type. This clay helps some of the early ripening varietals lengthen their growing season so the grapes achieve full phenolic ripeness while also keeping a freshness in the fruit characteristics. Blend: 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 11% Malbec, 7% Cabernet Franc
