Phoenix Gardenia Oolong Tea is cultivated from tea trees in Guangdong, China that have been there since the Song Dynasty. It is said they were once only reserved for royalty. Today, this tea is still rare due to its limited production but you can now enjoy its rich and complex flavor.
Phoenix Single Bush Orchid Fragrance, characterized by the elegant aroma of orchids, orange-yellow soup color, rich fragrance, and robust taste. The aroma of the single bush grade Zhilan is distinct, with a pronounced sweet aftertaste. The tea leaves are tightly rolled, black-brown in color, glossy and oily, possessing a natural fragrance of orchid flowers. The aroma is sharp and long-lasting, with a bright orange-yellow soup color, a mellow and authentic taste, strong sweet aftertaste. Due to traditional craftsmanship and medium to high charcoal roasting, it is highly resistant to brewing.
Dan Cong is a special type of Oolong from Fenghuang shan (Phoenix mountains) in Guandong province, China. The Phoenix Mountains are elevated from 350 - 1560 meters above sea level. Niaoji shan (1560m) is the highest mountain while in Wudong shan (1391m) the main Dancong production is located. Dancong literally translated means "single bush".
