In traditional carbon baking, unlike electric ovens or stoves, it's not possible to control temperature and efficiency effectively. It entirely relies on "experience" to enhance aroma and flavor. Watching and baking the tea, and paying constant attention to the transformation of the tea leaves, is a task that requires scheduling, whether it be late at night or early in the morning. Countless times of bending over to turn the tea leaves, all for the purpose of ensuring even heating, fearing that a momentary distraction could render the efforts of the entire furnace futile. Such meticulous care is taken just to present the tea in its best condition.
