普洱紅茶的獨特之處,在於它會隨著時間的增長而變的更好更有風味,就如葡萄酒一樣。它最初是做為綠茶開始的,但沒有完全燒製,經萎凋、揉捻、發酵、乾燥四道工序。通過萎凋加强酶的活性,潮濕的葉子鬆散地堆叠在一起,以便乾燥和老化,使其在揉捻和發酵過程中,茶多酚得到充分的氧化,形成特有的色香味。茶葉的顔色從綠色變爲酒紅色。這種茶具有中等烟熏味,此外,與其他普洱茶相比,它是由更大的鬆散茶葉製成的。

推薦三步醒茶法:

1.茶罐醒茶:茶餅拆開後,在醒茶罐中放置一周左右,這個過程中跟空氣接觸,慢慢蘇醒,茶性逐步追上實際年份。

2.溫壺醒茶:這個過程可以喚醒茶葉内質,激發老茶的香氣。紫砂壺溫壺後直接投茶加蓋,茶葉在溫度和壺内水汽的作用下身段變軟,細胞舒展,做好迎接冲泡的準備。

3.冲泡醒茶:第一道醒茶可以適當放緩出湯時間,讓茶葉靜置10秒左右,第二道起正常出湯,至十道以上再逐步增加悶泡時長。

冲泡老茶需用100°C沸水冲泡,只有高溫才能逼出老茶的内質與香氣,泡茶剛性韻味。

Pu-Erh Black Tea is unique in that it gets better with age, much like wine. It initially starts out as a green tea but is not fully fired. Instead, the moist leaves are loosely stacked on top of each other to allow to dry and age. The result is a color change from green to a deep burgundy. Supreme Pu-Erh has a more fragrant earthy aroma than other Pu-Erh.
This tea has a medium smoky brew with delightful earthy notes. It has a stronger flavor. Also, it is made of larger loose tea leaves as compared to other Pu-Erh.
