Peony White Tea/ Mu Dan Wang

White Peony tea can be classified into four grades: Special Grade, Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3. Special Grade White Peony, also known as "Peony King/牡丹王" features buds that are very similar to Silver Needle, combining the fresh and sweet flavor of Silver Needle with the high, elegant aroma of Shou Mei. It merges the advantages of both, offering impeccable taste and fragrance.

White tea refers to tea leaves that, after being picked, are not subjected to pan-frying or rolling, but are instead dried in the sun or by gentle heat. This process results in tea with prominent white hairs. The most famous varieties come from the northeastern region of Fujian, including different grades such as Silver Needle, White Peony, Gong Mei, and Shou Mei.

Bai Mu Dan (White Peony): This newer variety of white tea is cultivated in China and other countries around the world. It can be cultivated from an original Chinese white tea bush or from another variety. It usually includes some buds blended with unfurled or barely opened young tea leaves.
