Jin Si Black Tea is a characteristic tea variety from Yunnan, China. It is crafted from fresh leaves of Yunnan large-leaf tea trees using the traditional Dianhong Gongfu Black Tea processing technique. The finished tea leaves are tightly twisted into a golden thread-like shape, presenting a dark glossy appearance with visible golden fuzz. When brewed, the tea liquor is bright red and transparent with a golden rim, offering a complex aroma that blends honey and fruit notes, along with a mellow and sweet taste.
Origin:Yunnan, China | Sort:Black Tea | Level:Premium |
Season:Before Guyu (Grain Rain) Festival | Caffeine:☆☆☆ | Storage:Sealed, away from light, free from odors, stored in a dry and low-temperature environment. |
The production process of Jin Si Black Tea consists of four core steps, adhering to traditional Dianhong Gongfu standards: Withering → Rolling (to form tightly twisted strips) → Fermentation → Drying.
The tea leaves are tightly twisted in a golden thread-like shape, dark and glossy with clearly visible golden fuzz. The overall appearance is neat and uniform.
The tea liquor is bright red and transparent, with a distinct golden rim around the edge of the cup, exhibiting strong luster.
It features a typical Yunnan black tea flavor, with a natural blend of honey and fruit aromas. The taste is rich and mellow, smooth on the palate, with a long-lasting sweet aftertaste. The aroma is layered, fresh, and free of impurities.
The health benefits of Jin Si Black Tea mainly come from its rich active components such as tea polyphenols, caffeine, and theaflavins. It has antioxidant effects, can refresh the mind and improve concentration, gently nourish the stomach and promote digestion, and assist in regulating blood lipids. With a mild nature and no irritation, it is especially suitable for consumption in autumn and winter.
Suitable for people of all ages, especially those with weak spleen and stomach who need gentle health care, and those with daily health maintenance needs.
Purple clay teapot or white porcelain Gaiwan (lidded bowl) are preferred.
Generally, use 3-5 grams of tea for every 150 milliliters of water. The recommended brewing temperature is 90℃-95℃; boiling water should be avoided to prevent damage to the aroma compounds.
Typically 3 to 5 infusions.
The first infusion should be controlled at 3-4 minutes, during which the aroma and flavor substances of the tea are fully released, highlighting the freshness, briskness and sweetness of Dianhong Black Tea. The second infusion takes about 3 minutes to emphasize the mellow and rich taste. The third to fourth infusions can be shortened to 2-3 minutes, while still maintaining a stable flavor.
