龍井茶是中國的十大名茶之一，屬於綠茶，有“綠茶皇后”之稱。主要產於浙江省中部一帶。
雨前龍井—是指谷雨前採製的龍井茶，溫度對於龍井的影響非常之大；根據每年節氣，清明節前一般氣溫處於低溫緩慢升高回暖的時節，過了清明氣溫往往急劇攀升，因此以清明做爲區分龍井茶的好次。
通常谷雨之前，正是茶樹“一葉一芽”的時候，用來製作龍井茶最爲香醇，春茶此品最新鮮。待谷雨後就變差了，龍井茶農有句諺語：“早採三天是個寳，遲採三天變成草”，便是因氣候溫度直接影響茶葉的幼嫩有關。
龍井茶不屬於發酵茶，其中富含兒茶素、茶多酚，具有很强的抗菌、抗氧化、抑制血管老化、净化血液的功效。
龍井茶向有 "色綠、香郁、味醇、形美" 四绝之美譽。即茶葉色澤翠綠、香氣清幽郁、味道甘鮮醇和、形如雀舌。
