A very rare and famous tea from the Zhejian Province of China, JiuQuHongMei is so-called because of the "red plum"/"Hong Mei" color of the brew that it produces. It's fully translated to "Nine Winding Red Plum", and is a fine tea that rivals other high-quality teas since it is picked by the "two leaves and a bud" principle. This results in a brew that is warm & pleasing to the stomach. This tea has fruity and bittersweet with floral hints. Its initial impressions create fruity and bittersweet flavors, but then a light melody of floral flavors emerges once it is consumed entirely. As a result, it can be enjoyed with sugar and as a milk tea.

Named after its unique red brew, this tea is characterized by long, brittle, twisted leaves that resemble fish hooks. Jiu Qu Hong Mei is famous for its rarity and has been prized since around 1850. It finally gained notice worldwide in 1995 when this tea was mentioned in Wang Zufeng's popular novel, "A Magnificent Tree of the South."
