  • Chateau Trotatoy 2006

    Chateau Trotatoy 2006

Winemaker Notes When ready, this wine shows enormous complexity and concentration and belongs to the most sought-after Pomerols. It can easily be kept 25 years or more in great vintages. Professional Ratings 95Wine Enthusiast his is a strongly structured and impressively textured wine. The tannins shoot through, giving a sense of dryness. But in the center, the wine shows power through both tannins and fruit, with blackberries and red plums. It has a precision and shape that promises long aging.

Unwritten Signature Series Oakville Station Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Unwritten Signature Series Oakville Station Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Tasting Notes “The inaugural vintage of our Unwritten Signature Series Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is an absolute show-stopper. From the heralded 2021 vintage, the nose is replete with graphite, blackberry and jasmine. It is heady and inviting. The voluptuous nose leads to a complex and dense palate. Blue and black flavors of anise and cardamom are intermixed with notes of crushed violets and slate. Although 100% Cabernet, it almost reminds us of the exotic perfume that can come with the addition of a few percent Petit Verdot. This wine is a perfect example of what Napa does so well: classically balanced, smooth, persistent and delicious. It is a great wine from a great vineyard in a great vintage. This is blue-chip stuff,” says Mark Porembski, Winemaker @ Unwritten Wines.

  • Hourglass Blueline Estate Merlot 2015

    Hourglass Blueline Estate Merlot 2015

Winemaker Notes The 2015 Merlot is dark and brooding, akin to the 2008 vintage. Yeasty blackberry cobbler, Asian spice, exotic Mandarin orange peel, and a touch of graphite defines its aromatics. Explosive, rich, dark very complex layers of delicious fruit evoke blackberry, sour cherry, crème de cassis and an intriguing note of Hoisin. The texture has a rounded suppleness, with a firm spine from its Cabernet component to tighten the structural core and add a trailing finish. The finish is long and expansive. Amazingly approachable now, this wine has the stuffing to age gracefully and could outrun common assertions of age-ability for Merlot. The 2015 Merlot should hit its peak in 2020-2022, and may be great for many years after. Blend: 81% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec, and 1% Cabernet Franc

Blankiet Prince of Hearts Red 2014

Blankiet Prince of Hearts Red 2014

Professional reviews ROBERT PARKER (94) The 2018 Prince of Hearts Paradise Hills Vineyard is composed of 48.8% Merlot, 48.3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1.7% Cabernet Franc and 1.2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes bounding out of the glass with notes of black plum preserves, Morello cherries, black raspberries and redcurrant jelly with suggestions of cedar chest, menthol, pencil lead and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has great intensity with a real skip in its step, featuring bold, crunchy fruit and rounded tannins with seamless freshness and a fragrant finish. JEB DUNNUCK (97) Checking in as close to an even split of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with around 1% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the 2018 Prince Of Hearts Red offers a stunning, Bordeaux-like nose of red and black currants, new leather, lead pencil, graphite, and bouquet garni. With medium to full-bodied richness, a seamless, elegant texture, classy background oak, and a great finish, this head turner has plenty of richness, yet it's the balance, purity, and texture that keep you coming back to the glass. Bravo!

  • Chateau Rieussec 2019

    Chateau Rieussec 2019

Winemaker Notes Watch when Jean-Sébastien Philippe, International Director of the iconic Domaines Baron de Rothschild appears in this tasting featuring the newly released 97 point - 2019 Château Rieussec. Jean-Sébastien and Michael Llodra, owner of Bordeaux wine bar, Chai Mica, join Wine.com host Gwendolyn Osborn to challenge the myth that Sauternes is purely a "dessert" wine and prove that it can be an exceptional and versatile food wine that both complements rich textures and contrasts with salty or spicy foods (think oysters, fried chicken and prosciutto!) Tasting Note Delicate golden color with soft green glints. Intense nose with tremendous aromatic richness. Initial notes of citrus zest are followed by lemon tart, and then toasted notes reminiscent of freshly baked brioche. The palate offers mandarin zest and candied orange, enlivened by a touch of star anise which underscores the wine’s aromatic freshness. Dense and rich, the palate has good length with a pleasant hint of bitterness on the finish. It is only in Sauternes that botrytis can develop, giving Rieussec its unique richness. This noble rot meets our grapes to create a delicate osmosis that we reveal by harvesting each grape at the ideal moment. Once bottled, our wine starts its life cycle, drinkable from the earliest stage to the longest

  • Hess Allomi Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Hess Allomi Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

TASTE WITH THE WINEMAKER "On the nose, our Allomi Cabernet offers enticing aromas of currant, blackberry and elegant expressions of vanilla. These aromas are complemented by layered flavors of juicy balanced fruit, most notably black and red cherry and raspberry. Plush, well-integrated tannins provide a round, delicious mouthfeel, and lead to elements of cocoa powder supported by a subtle oak spice, adding to the personality of the wine and reminding us why this is one of our most popular Napa offerings.”

    Immortal Slope Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Product Highlights Sonoma Valley, California- The wine is dense, ripe and powerful, an effusive vortex of blackberry, toast, brown sugar, allspice, cassis, dark chocolate, earl grey tea, mint, anise, sugar cookie, chai, and tarragon. The palate is massive, but fruit sweet, supple and creamy. The magnificently steep vineyards of Immortal Estate are among the steepest in California, planted on a dramatic 55-degree slope on the Mayacamas range. The winery was formerly known as Hidden Ridge, and in 2019, Tusk Proprietor Tim Martin partnered up with Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander and Supermodel Kate Upton as the winery’s owners. Winemaker Tim Milos made wine at Opus One, Stag’s Leap, and Cliff Lede and has two 100-Point wines under his belt, so it’s no wonder Immortal wines receive high scores from enthusiasts and critics with each new vintage.
