WINEMAKERS: Fernando Remírez de Ganuza & Pedro Aibar Sánchez 2016 HARVEST: 2016 was characterized by an unusually mild winter for a continental climate, with a rainy spring that delayed budding. Summer was hot and dry, with high temperatures in June that caused the early onset of flowering. The existing water reserves in the soil allowed optimal ripening. The harvest took place on the morning of October 6, with exceptional grape quality. It was carried out manually in small boxes, and the best clusters were carefully selected by hand. GRAPE CHARACTERISTICS: 100% Tempranillo. Grown in two exclusive vineyards of more than 100 years old, located in the area of Anguix and La Horra, on the moorlands, at an altitude of approximately 1000m. Cultivated in very poor soils of limestone parent rock.

Winemaker Notes When ready, this wine shows enormous complexity and concentration and belongs to the most sought-after Pomerols. It can easily be kept 25 years or more in great vintages. Professional Ratings 95Wine Enthusiast his is a strongly structured and impressively textured wine. The tannins shoot through, giving a sense of dryness. But in the center, the wine shows power through both tannins and fruit, with blackberries and red plums. It has a precision and shape that promises long aging.

Tasting Notes “The inaugural vintage of our Unwritten Signature Series Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is an absolute show-stopper. From the heralded 2021 vintage, the nose is replete with graphite, blackberry and jasmine. It is heady and inviting. The voluptuous nose leads to a complex and dense palate. Blue and black flavors of anise and cardamom are intermixed with notes of crushed violets and slate. Although 100% Cabernet, it almost reminds us of the exotic perfume that can come with the addition of a few percent Petit Verdot. This wine is a perfect example of what Napa does so well: classically balanced, smooth, persistent and delicious. It is a great wine from a great vineyard in a great vintage. Winemaker Notes The 2015 Merlot is dark and brooding, akin to the 2008 vintage. Yeasty blackberry cobbler, Asian spice, exotic Mandarin orange peel, and a touch of graphite defines its aromatics. Explosive, rich, dark very complex layers of delicious fruit evoke blackberry, sour cherry, crème de cassis and an intriguing note of Hoisin. The texture has a rounded suppleness, with a firm spine from its Cabernet component to tighten the structural core and add a trailing finish. The finish is long and expansive. Amazingly approachable now, this wine has the stuffing to age gracefully and could outrun common assertions of age-ability for Merlot. The 2015 Merlot should hit its peak in 2020-2022, and may be great for many years after. Blend: 81% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec, and 1% Cabernet Franc

Professional reviews ROBERT PARKER (94) The 2018 Prince of Hearts Paradise Hills Vineyard is composed of 48.8% Merlot, 48.3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1.7% Cabernet Franc and 1.2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes bounding out of the glass with notes of black plum preserves, Morello cherries, black raspberries and redcurrant jelly with suggestions of cedar chest, menthol, pencil lead and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has great intensity with a real skip in its step, featuring bold, crunchy fruit and rounded tannins with seamless freshness and a fragrant finish. JEB DUNNUCK (97) Checking in as close to an even split of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with around 1% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the 2018 Prince Of Hearts Red offers a stunning, Bordeaux-like nose of red and black currants, new leather, lead pencil, graphite, and bouquet garni. With medium to full-bodied richness, a seamless, elegant texture, classy background oak, and a great finish, this head turner has plenty of richness, yet it's the balance, purity, and texture that keep you coming back to the glass. Light, moderate, clear character type of sake, "Seiryuu" in English means "Clear Stream".    Rice originally grown in Yamagata Prefecture "Dewasansan". Polished to 50%, a very delightful Junmai Daiginjou with a fairly low alcohol content of around 14%. Easy and neat on the palate. Fresh fruits, citrusy with sweet candies on the nose. Very gentle, quiet ending.  Perfect to drink on it's own or pair with semi hard cheese like Gouda or Edam.   Ideal Serving Temperature：15℃ below
