水仙茶树品种属无性系、大叶、晚生种型，叶片比普通小叶种大一倍以上，叶质肥厚。
The Shui Xian tea tree variety is a clonal, large-leaf, late-maturing type. The leaves are more than twice the size of those from common small-leaf varieties and are thick and robust.

老枞水仙制作工艺包括萎凋→凉青→做青（摇青⇌凉青）→初炒→初揉→复炒→复揉→毛火→扬簸→凉索→拣剔→足火→吃火→团包→补火15道严谨的制作工艺。
The production process of Old Bush Shui Xian includes 15 meticulous steps: withering → cool green → shaping (shaking the leaves ⇌ cooling the leaves) → first frying → first rolling → second frying → second rolling → rough fire → winnowing → cooling → sorting → full fire → finishing fire → bundling → supplementing fire.

外观条索较粗壮,条索紧结沉重,叶端扭曲,色泽暗黑中带暗红
