【功效】 金櫻子具有固精縮尿的功效，能夠有效治療遺精、滑精、遺尿以及白濁等病症。它可收斂固澀，阻止腎精不當外泄，常常與芡實、蓮須等藥物搭配使用，例如在金鎖固精丸中，通過相互配伍增強了固精止遺的效果。 它還能澀腸止瀉，適用於脾腎虛寒所導致的久瀉不止、脫肛等症狀。金櫻子能收斂腸道，起到固澀大腸的作用，一般會與補骨脂、肉豆蔻等藥物一同使用，從而達到溫補脾腎、澀腸止瀉的目的。 金櫻子也有固崩止帶的作用，可用於治療崩漏、帶下等婦科病症。它能收斂固攝，調節沖任二脈，對於婦女因身體虛損而出現的崩漏下血、帶下量多等問題有一定的療效，常與山茱萸、當歸等藥物配伍使用。 此外，金櫻子可以澀精止遺，對於男子腎虛不固所引發的早泄、遺精等症狀能起到改善作用。既可以單獨煎服，也能夠和其他補腎固精的藥物如熟地、菟絲子等配合使用，以此增強治療效果。 【別稱】 刺榆子、刺梨子、金罌子、山石榴、山雞頭子、糖罐等。 【性味歸經】 味酸、澀，性平。歸腎、膀胱、大腸經。 【營養價值】 金櫻子含有豐富的糖類、有機酸、鞣質、皂苷、維生素C、生物鹼等成分。其中，有機酸能促進消化液分泌，增強消化功能；鞣質具有收斂作用，這也是其能固精、止瀉、止帶的重要物質基礎；維生素C等抗氧化成分，有助於清除體內自由基，提高機體免疫力；皂苷類成分具有抗炎、抗菌等多種生物活性。 【儲存方法】 乾燥儲存：把金櫻子放置在乾燥、通風且陰涼的地方，防止潮濕環境，避免其發霉變質。可以將其放在通風良好的室內，或者在儲存容器中放入乾燥劑來保持乾燥。 密封保存：將金櫻子裝入密封袋或密封容器中，減少與空氣的接觸，防止氧化和蟲蛀。可選用玻璃瓶、塑料密封袋等容器，密封好後存放在陰涼處。 【用法用量】 煎服：一般用量為6 - 12克，用清水煎煮金櫻子時，可根據具體的病情和配方適當調整用量。煎服能使金櫻子中的有效成分充分溶出，發揮其治療作用。 入丸、散劑：依據具體病情和配方的需求，可將金櫻子製成丸劑或散劑服用，這樣既便於攜帶，又利於服用和藥物的吸收。 製成膏劑：金櫻子還可以製成膏劑，如金櫻子膏，便於長期服用，且口感相對較好，適用於慢性虛損病症的調理。 【注意事項】 實熱者忌用：金櫻子性收斂，實熱證患者，如內有濕熱蘊結，表現為口苦口乾、小便短赤、大便燥結等症狀者，服用金櫻子可能會加重病情，使邪氣內閉而不得宣泄。 膀胱濕熱者慎用：對於膀胱濕熱導致的小便頻數、澀痛等症狀，金櫻子的收斂作用可能會影響濕熱之邪的排出，因此不宜使用。 【搭配食療】 金櫻子粥 材料：金櫻子15克，粳米100克，適量冰糖。 做法：先將金櫻子洗淨，放入鍋中，加適量清水煮30分鐘左右，去渣取汁。然後把粳米放入藥汁中，煮至米爛成粥，加入適量冰糖調味。 功效：具有固精縮尿、澀腸止瀉的功效，適用於腎虛遺精、滑精、遺尿以及脾腎虛寒的久瀉不止等病症。 金櫻子杜仲茶 材料：金櫻子10克，杜仲10克。 做法：將金櫻子和杜仲洗淨，放入杯中，用開水沖泡，浸泡10 - 15分鐘後即可飲用。可反覆沖泡多次。 功效：能補腎固精、強腰健膝，適用於腎虛所致的腰膝酸軟、遺精、早泄等症狀。
