We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Proposition 65 warnings advise of exposures to chemicals that may contribute to an individual's overall lifetime risk of cancer or risk of birth defects or other reproductive harm. If a warning is placed on a product label or posted or distributed at a workplace, a business, or in rental housing, the business issuing the warning is aware or believes that it is exposing individuals to one or more listed chemicals.
Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé has a long history spanning back over 500 years, and in the last 300 years has been owned by the same family. The family owns a handful of parcels all throught the Chambolle-Musigny region, but perhaps most famously they own approximately 70% (7.2ha) of the Grand Cru Musigny vineyard, of which a minute portion (.65ha) is planted to Chardonnay vines. It is these vines which produce one of the rarest Grand Cru white wines in all of Burgundy. So dedicated to producing wines of power and precision, when the time came, in 1993, to rip out and replant their Chardonnay vine, then winemaker Francois Millet decided to declassify this white to the regional Bourgogne Blanc. Although he could legally produce a wine from these younger vines and still label it a Grand Cru, he instead chose to allow these vines to gain a proper foothold, to best reflect the terroir of their landmark vineyard, before he would bottle the wine as Grand Cru, which was in 2015. The wine sees a very careful handling, being hand harvested, and a long elevage including aging in a tiny portion of new French oak ~20%. The palate delivers flavors of ripe pears and stone fruits, with touches of pineapple and a waxy quality, the oak comes across with hints of butterscotch and vanilla, all anchored by a vivid acidity and an intense saline, mineral streak. This wine rewards those with patience, although if you can not wait, pair this wine lobster, scallops, or white truffle risotto.
