"Contains vines dating back to 1979. Farella has long been a source for top names in Napa, seeking the freshness typical of the Coombsville appellation. The nose here relays this, with an elegant and graceful blackberry aromas. The texture is svelte and full of energy, with a lovely, subtle bite to the finish. A great value, especially considering one can pay many times more for wines that contain this very fruit.

This is right between a 4.25/4.5. Very well made 100% cab from 3 distinct vineyard blocks of Farella's Coombsville estate. It has Burgundian qualities in the action-packed yet restrained flavor profile. Rich dark fruit on the nose and pallet. Tannin is mouth-watering and acidity is sharp and concise. CANNOT believe this 14.8% abv, really good integration of alcohol content. This wine is great now but still has life and will only improve over the next 2-4 years. 93!
