Utilizing the house's distinct infusion method where skins of Pinot noirs skins are steeped in the juice of Chardonnay grapes to achieve that lovely salmon color ( or partridge eye), and an aromatic lift. This technique coupled with near complete blocking of malolactic conversion, to maintain that crisp acidity, and extended lees aging produces a rose of remarkable depth, structure, and finesse.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cspan data-sheets-root=\"1\"\u003eThe 2017 Vintage was a difficult vintage in Champagne, thanks to a warm dry winter and a near 2 week period of frost during the spring which caused many grapes to be lost. While this was a challenging growing season, it was also one of generosity and freshness. This wine opens with aromas of alpine strawberries, blood oranges, raspberries, with delicate roses and oak spice. On the palate this wine echos the nose, with mineral tension, and delightlfully smoky nuances.
