Lao Ban Zhang 2015 Raw Pu-Erh Tea Cake (357g) Most Lao Banzhang tea trees were planted in 1476, more than 500 years ago. Teas from old tea trees that are more than one thousand years old are extremely rare. The descendants of the Bulang people (who were descendants of the ancient Pu people) were the first people in the world to cultivate, produce and drink tea. The mountains are 1700 to 1900 meters above sea level. The valleys below the Ailao Mountain and the Wuliang Mountain are protected by the barrier effect in the north. Tiancheng’s mild climate is perfect for producing tea. It has “no severe cold in winter, no intense heat in summer, its four seasons are like spring” and it has “foggy winter and spring” weather. The original ecological diversity is well preserved, which is especially suitable for the growth of ancient tea trees.  From ancient times to the present, the villagers of Lao Banzhang have been using traditional ancient methods to maintain ancient tea trees. Fresh leaves are picked by hand, green tea is sun-dried, and all kinds of tea are pressed using the stone grinding method. The king of Pu'er tea, Lao Banzhang has gone through a hundred years of vicissitudes of life, creating a rich aroma, a unique orchid fragrance that is fascinating, thick and lubricated, deep throat rhyme, and a long aftertaste. This product is made of high-quality Ancient Tea Tree leaves, whether it is tasting, appreciating or collecting, it is a top treasure.

Lao Ban Zhang Old tree Raw Pu-erh Tea #1075

老班章 古树生茶 2017年 普洱茶#1075 Lao Ban Zhang Old tree Raw Pu-erh Tea  #1075 Pu-Erh is a fully fermented tea that goes through complex processing in which it is shaped into cakes and, like a fine wine, is aged for years to mature the full bloom of its flavors. This process creates a unique aroma and earthly flavor along with many added health benefits. Pu-Erh is believed to aid in reducing cholesterol and fat and is best enjoyed around 15 - 20 minutes after a meal to aid in digestion.   The “old tea trees” are hundreds to thousands of years old which gives a more complex taste and healing benefits. Rich and earthy, this traditional-aged and fermented Pu'er tea offers a smooth, robust cup with notes of chocolate and espresso. Pu'er (or Pu-erh) tea is also known as "hei cha" or 'dark tea'. For generations, the ethnic groups of southwest Yunnan province have wild-harvested leaves from ancient tea plants, some centuries old and as tall as trees. This tea can be prepared 'gongfu' style, using a small teapot and preparing multiple infusions from the same leaves. It is best enjoyed if it's rinsed with boiling water prior to steeping. The thick body and dense chestnut flavor of Pu’er leave a smooth-yet-resounding finish on the palate.
