Winemaker Notes Blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot James Suckling The intensity and perfumes on the nose are extremely impressive, offering pure blackberries and violets, as well as bark, wild-mushroom and raw-tile notes. It’s full-bodied with creamy tannin's that envelop the wine and a gorgeous, subtly complex center palate with all the flavors found on the nose. Endless finish. Love the finesse and length to this. Greatest ever. 65% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot and 5% petit verdot. Try after 2026. Wine Enthusiast The wine's tannins are impressive and solidly structured, with a firm concentration of ripe black fruits to round it out. The black plum flavor and bright acidity offer a juicy feel, allied with a mineral note on the finish.

  • Domaine d'Eugenie Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Aux Brulees 2008

Domaine d'Eugenie Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Aux Brulees 2008

    Out of stock

Mid cherry red. Smells richer, deeper and riper on the nose than the Clos d’Eugénie, generous dark-red fruit. You hardly see the oak the fruit is so alive. Ripe and rounded on the palate, incredibly gentle and caressing but has depth and fullness in the mouth. Again that delicate slightly floral touch in the fruit, so fragrant and approachable. On the finish, there’s a touch more savoury character, a little more spice, more grounded and less flirtations. Incredibly long and pure. - Jancis Robinson Domaine d’Eugenie is amongst the largest owners of Aux Brûlées – owning a substantial part of the south-facing parcels in the northern part of the appellation. This Aux Brûlées is from the hotter northern side, but in 2017 the balance is clear and very enjoyable. It’s slightly smoky with generous fruit – charming and intense – with a delicate and light-footed expression. SO - Winehog Moderate reduction knocks down the underlying fruit though there is good freshness to the relatively concentrated medium weight flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the focused, powerful and saline finish that is youthfully austere. This should be very good in time as the underlying material appears to be excellent. - Allen Medows, Burghound

  • Delas 'La Galopine' Condrieu Rhone 2019

Delas 'La Galopine' Condrieu Rhone 2019

    Out of stock

Winemaker Notes The color is a straw yellow, with green tinges. This Condrieu has layers of amazingly powerful and complex aromas: violets, apricots, peaches, honey and dried fruit. On the palate, these exuberant flavors are rich, powerful, and highly seductive, with an unctuous texture and a mass of exotic fruit on the finish. James Suckling Here’s a wine for those who often find Condrieu too soft and/or rich. I love the ripe-peach and pineapple aromas and the restrained richness (in the context of this appellation that tends to opulence), a hint of grapefruit pith-like bitterness accentuating the impression of freshness. • La Reserve de Malartic Pessac-Leognan 2019

La Reserve de Malartic Pessac-Leognan 2019

    Out of stock

Rated 94 by James Suckling This has really nice tension with dried lemons with hints of apples and white peaches. It’s long and flavorful. A beauty. 81% sauvignon blanc and 19% semillon. Rated 92 by Decanter White flowers and grape aromas. Elegance and finesse with brightness. Good density of lemon here, this isn't so acidic but delivers a really well balanced wine with fruit expression, power and structure. I like the texture, smooth and well defined. Driving with a touch of spicy oak at the end. Have with oysters. Drinking Window 2023 - 2030. Rated 91 by Wine Advocate Composed of 70.9% Sauvignon Blanc and 29.1% Semillon, the 2019 La Réserve de Malartic Blanc was harvested from the 4th of September to the 16th of September. It is aging on the lees in French oak barrels for an anticipated 10-12 months. The nose is a little muted to begin, opening out with some coaxing to reveal subtle scents of fresh lemon juice, green apples, lemongrass and Bosc pears with touches of wet pebbles and allspice. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is soft on the acidity with ripe, sensuous, approachable fruit and a pleasantly peppery finish.

  • Domaine Santa Duc Les Quatre Terres Cotes du Rhone 2019

Domaine Santa Duc Les Quatre Terres Cotes du Rhone 2019

    Out of stock

This wine incorporates grapes from the elite Cru appellations of Vacqueyras and Rasteau as well as Côtes-du-Rhône Villages sites in Roaix and Séguret. A piercing blackberry and bramble-scented blend of Grenache and Syrah sourced from limestone soils, it's an approachably fruity introduction to Santa Duc's majestic (and more expensive wines) but maintains a trademark vitality and finesse. Highlighting juicy cassis and plum flavors along with a zippy mineral finish, it's a delicately tannic red that should drink well through 2026. ---ANNA LEE C. IIJIMA

The original Huët vineyard is nearly 9 hA. It has the richest soils of the domaine’s three crus - a deep limestone-clay - and the wines are generally the estate’s most approachable. In some vintages, small quantities from nearby estate parcels may be added to Le Haut-Lieu.

All grapes harvested by hand. Noël Pinguet was one of the first French vignerons to adopt biodynamic viticulture and credit biodynamics with enhancing the personalities of the estate's terroirs. Pétillant, also known as Methode Ancestrale, is a sparkling wine method where the wine is bottled before primary fermentation is finished, resulting in a lower pressure sparkling wine. It is called "pétillant" because only a portion of the fermentation occurs inside the bottle. Yeast is added to ensure the fermentation progresses smoothly.

  • Pauillac de Latour Pauillac Bordeaux 2010

Pauillac de Latour Pauillac Bordeaux 2010

    Out of stock

93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate  The best Pauillac I ever tasted (and this wine has been a revelation ever since they first introduced it), the 2010 from Latour represents 24% of their production. It is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44.5% Merlot and .5% Cabernet Franc. An amazingly opulent, round, delicious wine, and a great buy when they finally release it – assuming it comes in under a three-digit price – it possesses wonderfully silky tannins, classic black currant, cedar wood and forest floor notes, and rich, full-bodied opulence as well as a terrific purity and palate presence. It should drink well for 10-15+ years. (RP)  (2/2013) 92 points James Suckling
