Description

Taster´s notes

This wine has a complex and intense nose, with scents of white flowers and aromas of ripe white flesh fruits. On the palate, a frank attack, a feeling of fullness and roundness accompany the aromas.

The vineyard is planted in the village of Katsunuma, located in the center of the main Japan island, east of the Kofu Valley in Yamanashi Prefecture. Katsunuma is the winegrowing center of Japan, and Koshu grapes have been grown there for more than 1,200 years. Geographic features of Katsunuma have been formed by Mountains and alluvial fans shaped by rivers. The peaks of the Japanese Alps can be seen from every single point of our Isehara parcel.
