  • Chateau d'Aqueria Tavel 2021

    Chateau d'Aqueria Tavel 2021

Winemaker Notes The intense pink color is characteristic of a great Tavel, and shines with bright red glints. Raspberry and black currant notes share the glass with spices. The wine is balanced, combining power and elegance, and the finish is long. Critical Acclaim Wine Enthusiast Opulent and juicy, this full-bodied Tavel highlights the fleshy red plum and cherry flavors of Grenache against the peppery, herbal spice of Syrah and a flash of citrusy Clairette. Deep, dusky pink in color, it's a concentrated, thirst-quenching rosé that will drink well into the autumn and winter months. Decanter Quite a serious, savoury nose, showing black cherry and garrigue herbs. Full-bodied, with real depth and power. Acidity and alcohol are well balanced and it has a slightly chalky texture. An authentic Tavel, made in a traditional rather than natural style. Estate now owned by Guigal.

If you like the minerality of a Sancerre, you will love this wine. Critical Acclaim James Suckling A pale peach-colored rosé with aromas of roses, strawberries, raspberries and nectarines. It’s medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a juicy, creamy palate. Deliciously fruity with good concentration and length. Decanter Nuanced flavours and aromas of tangerine, peach, fresh dried petals, citrus, honey and gentle spice. Very rounded, soft and appealing, whilst maintaining freshness and depth. Vey good. Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Cotes de Provence Cru Classe 2022

Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Cotes de Provence Cru Classe 2022

Winemaker Notes The Clos Mireille Rosé is an expression of a blend of various grapes typical of the Côtes de Provence appellation: Grenache, the majority grape, chosen for its full-bodied texture, Cinsault for its well-known softness and Syrah for its fruity roundness. The wine is a very pale pink highlighted, depending on the vintage, with golden, orange and even vermilion tints. Its bouquet reveals fresh fruit (mango, melon) punctuated with lemony notes. On the palate, its freshness develops through citrus aromas around a resolutely mineral core before ending with a subtly persistent finish. Blend:  70% Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 10% Rolle (Vermentino)
