Can't Spend Summer in Venice? The Next Best is this Thursday's Allegrini Tasting at the W Bar!
Where: W Bar by Wing Hop Fung
When: Thursday July 12, 6-7:45 PM
Cost: $22/person at the door
If you've never had a nice chilled Valpolicella on a hot day, with its refreshing well-balanced characteristics, or never tasted a rich Amarone from an iconic Northern Italian producer, then you'd better hustle yourself over to the W Bar of Wing Hop Fung this Thursday evening, because you are in for a treat!
Named "Italy's Winery of the Year" in 2016 by Gambero Rosso, Allegrini is one of the country's oldest wineries and has pioneered wine-making in the Veneto region (near Verona and Lake Garda) since the 16th century. Having passed on wine-making traditions and techniques from generation-to-generation, Allegrini is still family owned and widely recognized as the finest winery in the region. It's Amarone is a benchmark for the stye and its Pallazo Della Torre is "the most awarded red wine in the world under $25."
You'll get to try them both plus two more fantastic examples on Thursday. All wines will be for sale with special pricing - Thursday night only.
